Holistic Grooming is “the practice of Grooming your pet in a stress-free environment in order to provide optimal health for both their body and mind” according to Daryl Conner (Author of Holistic Pet Grooming)

Lavender Fields Pet Spa is a holistic pet grooming salon: we focus on the pets physical and emotional comfort level during their time with us. Brianna King, owner and pet stylist, created the concept for this salon around one main idea: creating the most pleasant experience possible for her clients.

At LFPS our goal is to help pets become as comfortable as possible during their grooming appointments, the less stressed a pet is, the more they allow us to do a high quality and thorough groom! We review what your fur-baby felt comfortable with during their service, and what they may have struggled with, in order to come up with a plan to help them become as comfortable as possible through future grooming appointments. If your groomer feels that any particular service is too stressful for your pet to get through, we will stop and move to a different part of the service. At pick-up we discuss what can be done to help your pet get through a particular part of their service if needed, this is sometimes training techniques we show you to practice at home, or a calming medication prescribed by your vet.

“Throughout my years of experience in the pet grooming industry I noticed most pets were fearful of at least one part of their grooming experience, if not all of it. LFPS is a culmination of all of the techniques I’ve noticed help ease a pets anxiety during their service”, starting with their sense of smell.

Our pets’ sense of smell is much more powerful than our own, so we utilize lavender aromatherapy in the salon and keep our floors and surfaces sanitized to create an environment that doesn’t remind them of places with a high volume of pets like vets offices or other salons. It actually smells like a spa! We play soothing classical music while pets are groomed which has been shown to have a calming effect on our pets. LFPS is stocked with high-end, clean, spa quality products and we are regularly researching the best products available.

Lavender Fields Pet Spa also caters to cats with a small private cat grooming room attached to the main grooming room. There, our cat friends are safe and don’t have to worry about any dogs walking by while they are cared for.

Senior pets and large breeds have not been forgotten, with padded kennels for achy joints, safety equipment like muzzles that allow cats and dogs to breathe normally, soft belly bands that support frequent sitters or dogs with weak hind legs, and tables that lower all the way to the floor to eliminate the need for elderly/large dogs jumping up and down or having to be picked up.

Feedback from clients has been amazing thus far! One client says “Bri is the absolute best groomer around!!! No question about it!!! My wife and I brought our Corgi to her for the works and we got our pup back looking like a show dog! Her care for animals is on another level and her business is super clean and very pet friendly! My wife and I will be a forever customer and I highly recommend you bring your dog to her!”.

Another client stated “I took my puppy Pawley Sue to Bri. I really enjoyed the experience and atmosphere! I walked in and it was calm and relaxing. It was not odorous and there wasn't 10 dogs barking. Honestly dogs barking is overwhelming for dogs and puppies and humans! When I picked up Pawley I was pleasantly surprised! My expectations were exceeded. Thank you Bri for taking care of my baby.”

Grooming appointments are available Tuesday-Saturday, pricing is based on your pets’ weight and coat type, and rabies information is required. To book an appointment right now you can use the “Book an Appt” tab from the menu.
