Hi, I’m Bri! I am a professional pet stylist, and as of August 2023, the proud owner of Lavender Fields Pet Spa.

I entered the pet grooming industry 8 years ago in 2015 as a dog bather at PetSmart in Millville, NJ. I worked as a bather there for about a year and went through grooming academy at PetSmart in Dickson City, PA. My academy class in 2018 had the great experience of learning face to face from Jodi Murphy, a renowned pet groomer who started at PetSmart herself. In April 2021 I took a salon management position at the Wilkes-Barre PetSmart where I was able to gain experience and improve my own grooming techniques while helping others learn to become groomers. My next career goal is to become certified as a master groomer with the AKC.

When the opportunity came up to purchase a salon I could not pass it up. Pet grooming is my biggest passion and owning my salon gives me the opportunity to create a quiet soothing space for my beloved clients grooming services. I love to research and utilize the best products, and have the creative freedom to practice new techniques/services and continue to grow as a pet stylist.

My own fur-baby’s are my precious, big, handsome, sweet pittie mix Brewski aka Honey Bear, Boo Boo Bear, Boo Boo, Big Handsome. My husband and I adopted him from the Luzerne County SPCA. And then I have my two cat’s- Shaela aka Shae Shae the gray tabby who is around 10 years old from Miss Pats Cats rescue in NJ and Maybelline (Maybel) my funny Snowshoe girl is 6 years old. A little bit about myself- I have always been an animal lover! I stopped eating animals when I was 12 years old, and I went vegan about 3 or 4 years ago. I enjoy skiing, sketching, painting, pilates, jogging with my Brewski, and my plants.

Caitlyn is another pet stylist here at LFPS!! Caitlyn is gentle, compassionate, and a perfectionist with a passion for her work. I admire her work ethic and dependability, which is so rare to find.

I hired Caitlyn at PetSmart as a bather in 2021. After months of training Caitlyn was ready for grooming academy, then I oversaw the rest of her grooming education until she became a fully certified pet stylist. Caitlyn has certain qualities that can’t be taught- she is naturally reliable, a fast learner, great communicator and so compassionate toward every pet. She quickly has become a talented and skilled pet stylist.

Outside of work Caitlyn has 2 cats, Bubs and Fat Man, and of course her precious pittie, Bella. Bella is 14 years old and has been with Caitlyn her entire life. She definitely has a soft spot for senior pets!
